At what age can children start playing board games?

Children can start playing board games as early as 2 years old. There is no upper age limit, as board games are a great way for people of all ages to enjoy themselves.

At this stage, children’s cognitive abilities and attention spans have developed enough to handle a wider variety of board games. You can introduce them to different types of games based on their interests, such as strategy games, math games, and quick-reaction games.

Ages 7-12:

By this age, children are generally ready for more complex board games that require longer attention spans and strategic thinking. They can grasp more intricate rules and enjoy a wider range of game mechanics.
