1 Scoreboard, 6 Ship Tokens, 6 Black Dice, 6 Red Dice (Scorepad is also included if you prefer to play in a traditional way.)
🎯 Objective
- 🚢 Players start at Tranquil Harbor. Race your ship across the ocean by rolling dice.
- 🏆 The first player to land on Treasure Island wins!
🧭 Movement & Scoring
- 📏 100 points = 1 space
- 🏦 Points are converted to moves only when you choose to "Bank" (stop rolling).
- 🔻 Any remaining points under 100 are lost. Example: 550 points = 5 spaces; the remaining 50 points are lost.
📊 Scoring Chart
| ⚄ = 50 pts | ⚀ = 100 pts |
| Roll | Points |
|---|---|
| Three of a Kind ⚀⚀⚀ | 1000 pts |
| Three of a Kind ⚁⚁⚁ | 200 pts |
| Three of a Kind ⚂⚂⚂ | 300 pts |
| Three of a Kind ⚃⚃⚃ | 400 pts |
| Three of a Kind ⚄⚄⚄ | 500 pts |
| Three of a Kind ⚅⚅⚅ | 600 pts |
| Four of a Kind | 1000 pts |
| Five of a Kind | 2000 pts |
| Six of a Kind | 3000 pts |
| 1–6 Straight | 1500 pts |
| Three Pairs | 1500 pts |
| Two Triplets | 2500 pts |
| Four of a Kind + a Pair | 1500 pts |
💡 Note: Dice from different rolls within the same turn cannot be combined for a score (e.g., Roll 1: set aside one 5 (50 pts). Roll 2: set aside two 5s (100 pts). Total = 150 pts. This does not count as "Three 5s" for 500 pts).
⚙️ Setup
- 🗺️ Unfold the board. Each player chooses a fleet token and places it on the "Harbor" start space.
- 🎲 Place the game box lid next to the board to use as a rolling tray. (One set of dice is for play, the other is spare or for the next player to prepare.)
- 👶 Each player rolls one die. The highest roller goes first. If tied, tied players re-roll until a first player is determined. Play proceeds clockwise.
🎮 How to Play
Roll all 6 dice in the tray. Dice landing outside must be re-rolled.
If none of your dice earned points, that's a Farkle! Since you earned no points, play passes to the next player.
If you rolled at least one scoring die (see Scoring Chart), you must set aside at least one scoring die (or combination of dice). Then you have 2 options:
- Bank & Move: Record your total points for the turn, move your ship accordingly, and end your turn.
- Press Your Luck: Re-roll the remaining dice to score more points. Points from the new roll are added to your running total. If your re-roll yields no points, you Farkle and lose ALL points accumulated in this turn.
⚡ Special Rules
- 🔴 Three Farkles Rule: If a player Farkles 3 turns in a row, they lose 1,000 points (move backward 10 spaces). If within 10 spaces of the start, return to the Harbor.
- 🔥 Hot Dice: If you score with all 6 dice (over one or multiple rolls), you trigger "Hot Dice." You may pick up all 6 dice and roll again to keep adding to your score. This can happen multiple times in one turn!
- ⛵ Setting Sail: To move your ship for the first time, you must bank at least 500 points in a single turn.
- If you score less than 500 or Farkle, you cannot move. Try again next turn.
- Once you have "Set Sail," the minimum requirement is lifted. You may bank as little as 100 points (1 space) on future turns.
🏆 Winning the Game
- 🎯 Final Round: When a player reaches or passes 100 spaces to land on "Treasure Island," this triggers the final round. Every other player gets one last turn to score and also reach "Treasure Island."
- 🏅 Victory: If only one player reaches the island, they win!
- 🎲 Tie-Breaker: If two or more players are on "Treasure Island" at the end, settle it with a Roll-Off. Tied players roll all 6 dice once. The highest score from that single roll wins. Repeat if still tied.
(If playing with the Scorepad, reaching 10,000 points triggers the final round. Remaining players take one last turn. The player with the highest total score wins.)
