🏆 Winning
- Create the most correct equations and collect the most dinos to win!
⚙️ Setup
- Choose a dealer. Shuffle the Yellow Sum Cards and place them face-down in the center.
- Shuffle the Blue Cards (Number Cards and Function Cards) and deal 3 cards to each player. Place the remaining cards as a draw pile next to the Sum Cards pile.
🎮 Gameplay
- The player to the dealer's left flips the top Sum Card face-up next to the pile.
- ⚡ The Race
All players play simultaneously! Use 2 or 3 cards from your hand (Addition or Subtraction) to match the Sum Card.
- 🔄 Fast Draw & Discard
If you can't make an equation, discard 1 card to your left side discard pile and draw 1 new card immediately. Keep going as fast as you can!
Note: Always discard before you draw. Max hand size is 3.
- 🦕 Shout "Dino!"
As soon as you have an equation, shout "Dino!", take the Sum Card and show everyone your equation. Other players can verify the equation.
- ❌ Incorrect Equation
You return the Sum Card to the center and are "frozen" (out) for the remainder of this specific turn. Others continue playing.
(Be careful, check your equation before shouting "Dino" and taking the Sum Card).
- ✅ Correct Equation
You collect the Sum Card (Dino), discard the cards used and draw new cards to refill your hand to 3. You flip the next Sum Card and the game continues.
Reshuffle the discarded cards and place them in the center if all Number Cards are drawn.
🏁 End of Game
- Set a target score before starting. For example, the first player to collect 5 Dinos wins!
🃏 Function Cards
- ⭐ Wild Card
Acts as any number (0–9) to complete an equation immediately!
- 🚫 Stop Card
Point at one player — they must stop discarding/drawing until the current Sum Card is won.
- 🦖 Steal Card
Steal a collected Dino from any other player! You can play it anytime!
Note: Always redraw a Number Card when you play a Function Card.
💡 Power-Up Tips
- 🔢 Bigger Numbers
Add Orange Sum Cards (values up to 30) to the pile and deal 4 cards to each player. Players can now use up to 4 cards to create equations.
- 🧮 Math Pro
Want extra challenges? Try including multiplication, division, or even square roots to reach the sum!
- ✏️ Create Your Own — Custom Sums
Use dry-erase markers on Red Blank Cards to create larger numbers (e.g., 50, 100) for tougher target sums.
- ➗ Symbol Tools
Write math symbols on blank cards to facilitate your equations.
- 🎲 Alternative Games
Use the deck to play other math challenges, such as the classic "Game 24" or even create your own.
